Marion, Ind. - Dickinson State's Ismael Arzola (Sr., Bakersfield, Calif.) has been named as a recipient of the NAIA Champions of Character Award. This prestigious honor is presented to athletes competing in the national championships that exemplify and promote the NAIA's Five Core Character Values on their team, campus and community.

The 5 NAIA Core Values are: Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship.

Arzola will compete in this week's NAIA Outdoor Men's Track and Field National Championships as a contestant in the 800 meter run.
