    Three Blue Hawk Baseball players were selected to the final All-DAC team released today. Andrew Grafton, a senior from Edmonton, AB, was elected to the first team after his season as a relief pitcher.

    The Dickinson State baseball team had waited all spring to play in front of its home crowd. The Blue Hawks sent their fans home happy Tuesday at Southside Municipal Ballpark.

    The Blue Hawks were defeated by the Jimmies in game one with a score of 12-3. CJ Ketron took the loss going 3.2 innings allowing 5 runs (4 earned) on 4 hits with 1 walk and 1 strikeout.

    The Astoria Ballpark will play host to Dickinson State's Baseball team. The newly renovated field turf will make DSU a prime environment for outdoor play.

  • Elizondo, Ketron are DAC Players of the Week

    Justin Elizondo, a Blue Hawk senior 2nd Baseman from Lancaster, CA was named DAC Player of the Week for his body of work last weekend. Elizondo batted .583 (7 of 12) in leading the Blue Hawks to three wins in four games.
  • DSU Baseball Wins DAC Pre-Season Tournament

    The DSU Blue Hawk Baseball team defeated Jamestown College in game 1 of the Pre-Season DAC Tournament in walk off fashion thanks to Derek Carley's walk off single, scoring Jacob Muir in the bottom of the last inning. The Blue Hawk hitters were held to two hits in the outing.

    The Dickinson State University Blue Hawk Baseball team defeated Morningside College (IA) with a score of 8-4. C.J. Ketron earned the victory going 6 innings allowing 4 runs (3 earned) on 6 hits with 2 K's and 2 walks. Andrew Grafton recorded the save in the victory.

    The Blue Hawks opened up their spring trip with a 12-1 win against Illinois Tech. Tanner Newman recorded the win allowing 1 unearned run on 5 hits with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks while throwing a complete game.

    The Dickinson State University Blue Hawks began game one of four off on the wrong foot. The Blue Hawk hitters tallied 1 run on 5 hits. Zach Griffith lead the way going 2-4 with a double and a run scored.

  • Littell to Assist DSU Baseball

    The Dickinson State University baseball team would like to welcome former Major League Baseball pitcher Mark Littell to the Blue Hawk coaching staff. Littell joins DSU with more than 30 years of coaching and playing experience, nine of which came as a member of the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals pitching staff.

    The Dickinson State University Blue Hawk Baseball Team has teamed up with Best Friends Mentoring Services to help youngsters from the Dickinson area. Over half of the members of the DSU Baseball Team have been paired up with children throughout the area.
