Blue Hawks fall to Jamestown in doubleheader

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The Blue Hawks were shutout in game one before dropping game two 15-5 against the Jimmies on Friday (Apr. 25).  Dickinson State is now 9-37 on the season.

The Jimmies poked runs through in the first, second, and third innings to stake out a 4-0 lead.  It would be enough for the victory.

The lone hit came from Sam Bisson.  Eric Contreras and Chas Allen combined to give up eight hits and four runs.

In game two the Blue Hawks scattered five runs across four innings.  Contreras picked up a pair of RBIs.  Thad LaneChris Mjelstad, and Jake Coyle each recorded a RBI.  Tim Catalanowas charged with the loss.

The Blue Hawks will be back on the field on Satruday (Apr. 26) against the University of Jamestown.  First pitch is scheduled for noon.
