DICKINSON, N.D. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2014 baseball Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. In total there were 257 athletes named to the list. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
Dickinson State had three players named on the list.
Ian Anderson is a left-handed pitcher. Anderson pitched in 15 games and compiled an ERA of 2.84. He also recorded six saves. Opposing hitters hit only .219 off the lefty.
Caleb Burgard hit .252 in 51 games as an outfielder. He drove in 15 runs and scored 22.
Sam Bisson played in 43 games for the Blue Hawks. He notched three doubles and drove in nine runs.
