  • Winnipeg (Manitoba) joins North Star Athletic Association in Baseball

    MADISON, S.D. – Cory Anderson, the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) commissioner, is proud to announce that the University of Winnipeg (Manitoba) in Canada will join the NSAA conference in the sport of baseball, beginning of 2015 fall season. The Wesmen will become a provisional member of the NSAA conference.

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2015 Baseball All-America Teams, selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association All-America Committee. National Player of the Year Ty Abbott of Georgia Gwinnett headlines the group of 34 individuals named to the first and second team. An additional 34 student-athletes received honorable mention recognition. Senior outfielder Jordan Tescher of Dickinson State (N.D.) was selected to the first team.
