DICKINSON, N.D. – Dickinson State Head Baseball Coach Jason Watson is pleased to announce David Kline has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Blue Hawks.
Kline was raised in Missouri, but has spent the last two years in Watford City, North Dakota. He is a catcher and has was a four-year letter winner for baseball, All-Conference, All-State, 2014 All-Regional Tournament Team, and a 2014 North Dakota state champion.
"My decision to attend Dickinson State University was based on its location, campus size, and academic departments," Kline said. "I feel DSU gives me the opportunity to grow in the classroom and enhance my skills on and off the baseball field."
Kline plans to major in Biology. His interest in biology stemmed from growing up near forests and rivers. He plans to focus his studies on Herpetology.
"David is a great addition to our baseball program and the DSU family," Watson said. "He is an excellent student and a very gifted baseball player. I am excited to see where his baseball career goes over the next four years here at DSU."
Kline is the son of David and Tareva. He has two siblings, Aidan and Ian.
