DICKINSON, ND- 6' 5" right handed Pitcher, Andrew Freeman, has signed a National Letter of Intent to pitch for the Dickinson State University Blue Hawk Baseball team.
Freeman is from Concrete, WA. and spent last year at the University of Washington after attending Concrete High School where he lettered in baseball five times, made the regional tournament five times, won districts once and was named All League in his sophomore and senior years. Andrew was also named to the Honor Roll as a Sophomore, Junior and Senior.
"After choosing to focus on academics right out of high school, I realized how much I love baseball and having the opportunity to continue to play at Dickinson State University was a chance I could not pass on," said Freeman.
"We are very excited to have Andrew joining our program. He is a big guy who is also extremely talented as a pitcher. He will definitely give us the opportunity to win some ball games and add depth to our pitching staff over the next four years," said Head Baseball Coach Jason Watson.
Andrew is the son of Jack and Kim Freeman.
