DICKINSON, N.D. – Ben Herzog from Miles City, Mont. has signed a national letter of intent to play football for Dickinson State in 2014-15.
Herzog is a 5-foot-11 quarterback and safety. He was selected as an all-conference performer three times as safety and twice as a quarterback. Herzog was named the Montana All-State Quarterback in 2013 and selected to play in the 2014 Montana Shrine Game, as well as the Badlands Bowl.
"Ben is an outstanding student-athlete and a perfect fit for us at quarterback," Head CoachPete Stanton said. "He displays great instincts and athleticism on the field. He is very intelligent, makes good decisions on the field, and has the ability to run and throw the ball equally well."
Herzog plans to major in business and will be a member of the Theodore Roosevelt Honors program at Dickinson State.
He is the son of Ted and Jodi Herzog.
