DICKINSON, N.D. – Dickinson State University Head Football Coach Pete Stanton is pleased to announce the signing of Jalen Hendrickson for the 2014-15 season.

Hendrickson hails from Medicine Lake, Mont. where he is currently a senior at Medicine Lake High School.  He was a two-way player for the Medicine Lake High football program, playing quarterback, wide receiver, and defensive back.  Hendrickson was an All-Conference and All-State selection in 2013.

Aside from his impressive football resume, Hendrickson was an All-State track and field performer in both 2012 and 2013 in the 110 and 300 hurdles.

"We are excited to have Jalen join our program," Stanton said.  "He is a good athlete that is capable of playing on either side of the ball.  We feel he has a great future ahead of him, as he possesses the skills and work ethic to be successful at the collegiate level."

Hendrickson is interested in majoring in agriculture at Dickinson State and he is the son of Mike and Debbie Hendrickson.
