DICKINSON, N.D. – Dickinson State University Head Football Coach Pete Stanton is pleased to announce Jeff Miller will be joining the Blue Hawks' staff as the offensive line coach for the 2014 season. He will also be serving as an assistant coach for men's and women's track and field.
"We are very excited for Jeff to join our staff," Stanton said. "He is a North Dakota guy who has a lot of experience at the college level. He is familiar with our conference and what our program will need to do to be successful. Jeff is a proven recruiter who has a vast amount of experience recruiting in several different areas across the country. With Jeff's work ethic and experience, he will be a great addition to our athletic staff. "
Miller, an Oaks, N.D. native, most recently coached at Minot State University as the defensive line coach. Prior to serving as the defensive line coach, Miller spent three years as the linebackers coach at Minot State. During the 2013-14 academic year, Miller spent time in the classroom as well.
Miller brings 15 years of coaching experience to Dickinson State. He has coached defensive linemen, offensive line men, linebackers, and coordinated the running game during his time as a coach. He previously coached at Mayville State University, Hibbing Community College, and Minnesota State University-Moorhead.
Miller received his Bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University in Secondary Education, before receiving his Master's degree in Sports Pedagogy.
