Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Jacob Duilio – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5'9" – 220 lbs., Junior – running back – Portland, Ore. – Duilio rushed 25 times for 144 yards with three touchdowns, including a pair of rushing touchdowns in the final quarter as Valley City State (N.D.) came-from-behind for a 32-24 victory over Dakota State (S.D.).  He gained 118 yards on VCSU's final two drives in the fourth quarter, capping each drive with a touchdown run.  With the Vikings leading 25-24, Duilio carried the ball eight plays in a row and ended the 50-yard drive with a 10-yard touchdown run.

Ethen Preston – Valley City State (N.D.) – 6'0" – 222 lbs., Senior – linebacker – Tower City, N.D. – Preston led Valley City State's (N.D.) defense with 13 tackles (7 solo tackles and 6 assist tackles) and an interception in 32-24 Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football conference victory over Dakota State (S.D.).  With the Trojans driving to try and tie the game, Preston sealed the victory with an interception deep in Vikings' territory with 53 seconds remaining.

Joshua Perry-Kruse – Dickinson State (N.D.) – 5'10" – 170 lbs., Senior – wide receiver/kicker – Honolulu, Hawaii – Perry-Kruse was 3-for-3 on PAT extra-point kicks and nailed down a 43-yard field goal as No. 25-ranked Dickinson State (N.D.) rolled to a 51-7 Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football conference victory at Jamestown (N.D.).  He recorded four kickoffs for a total of 236 yards (with the longest kick-off of 62 yards).  Perry-Kruse also had three receptions for 43 yards including a 20-yard touchdown catch.

The seventh edition of the Dacotah Bank/North Star Athletic Association Football Game of the Week took place at Bolstorff Field where Mayville State (N.D.) came-from-behind for a 33-25 victory over Waldorf (Iowa).  Trailing 25-20 before entering the fourth quarter, the Comets shut down the Warriors 13-0 to remain undefeated in the conference play.  Both teams had 19 first-downs in the game, but MSU outgained WC 410-314 in total offensive yards.  Mayville State extended their winning streak to four games, lifting their overall record to 5-1 and 3-0 in Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football conference action.  Waldorf lost their fourth straight game, dipping their overall record to 1-5 and 1-3 in conference play.

Valley City State (N.D.) also came-from-behind for a Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football victory over Dakota State (S.D.).  The Trojans held a 21-10 halftime lead and 24-17 lead before entering the fourth quarter.  The Vikings went on to outscore DaSU 15-0 with a pair of rushing touchdowns in the final quarter for a 32-24 victory, halting VCSU's two-game losing streak.  VCSU was outgained by DaSU 465-433 in total offense.  Valley City State improved their overall record to 4-3 and 2-2 in conference action.  Dakota State fell to 3-4 overall record and 1-2 Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football conference record.

Dickinson State (N.D.), ranked No. 25 in the latest NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 national poll, remained undefeated in Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football conference play after rolling to a 51-7 victory at Jamestown (N.D.).  After a scoreless first quarter, the Blue Hawks exploded for 24 points in the second quarter and never looked back.  DiSU outgained UJ 423-298 in total offensive yards, while the Jimmies committed three interceptions and two fumbles in the game.  Dickinson State holds a half-game lead in the conference standings with a 4-0 record and won their fifth straight game to raise their overall record to 6-1.  Jamestown dropped to 1-5 overall record and 1-2 in conference play.

Presentation (S.D.) bounced back in the winning column with a 51-21 rout at Finlandia (Mich.).  The Saints, who racked up a total of 597 offensive yards compared to FU's 242 offensive yards, scored the first 48 points of the game to earn their third victory of the season.  PC lifted their overall record to 3-3 and remained winless in three conference games.

Looking Ahead
The eighth edition of the Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football Game-of-the-Week on Saturday will feature a battle of DSU at the Trojan Field.  The 25th-ranked Dickinson State (N.D.) remains on the road as they visit Dakota State (S.D.).  The Blue Hawks won the last meeting in Dickinson, N.D. in a 20-17 overtime thriller over the Trojans.  Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. in Madison, S.D.

Presentation (S.D.) returns back to Dacotah Bank/NSAA Football Conference action as they host Valley City State (N.D.) at Swisher Field.  The game is set for 1 p.m. in Aberdeen, S.D.

Jamestown (N.D.) battles with Mayville State (N.D.) in the other conference action.  Kikc-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. in Mayville, N.D.

Waldorf (Iowa) will be idle this week and won't return back to action on Oct. 24 as they host Presentation.
