Dickinson State Football Signs Tyler Henderson from Mt. San Jacinto College

DICKINSON, ND- Dickinson State University Football is proud to announce the signing of Tyler Henderson.  Henderson is a 6'6" 245 pound tight end from Mt. San Jacinto College in California.

Henderson was a standout tight end for the Eagles.  He was named to the Region IV All-California First Team Offense both his Freshman and Sophomore years as well as named to the American Mountain 1st Team All-Conference teams both in 2013 & 2014.  He recorded 26 receptions and 3 touchdowns for just under 400 yards.  He entertained several offers before choosing the Blue Hawks.  He will have two years left to play for the Blue Hawks, where he will join former teammate Jamion Lindsey on the offensive side of the football.

Henderson prepped at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, California where he was twice named to the All-State and All Conference Teams.  In 2011 he helped the Broncos capture the CIF Championship, their first in school history.

"We are thrilled to have Tyler join our program.  He is the total package.  Tyler has a great frame and length.  He catches the ball well in traffic and blocks very well.  He was a highly recruited guy who will be a perfect fit for our offense", said Blue Hawks Head Coach Pete Stanton.
