Two Killdeer Standouts Sign with Blue Hawk Football

DICKINSON, ND- Dickinson State University Football is pleased to announce the signing of Derek Tabor and Zeb Doe from Killdeer, ND.

Derek Tabor, 5’9 180 RB/Safety, received All Conference- All Region- All State at running back and was also a team captain. He helped lead his team to back to back State championships in 2014 and 2015. Tabor was also an All-State wrestler as well, currently ranked #2 in the State.

"I chose to sign with Dickinson State because I love the program," said Tabor. "DSU is close to home and I enjoy the area."

Derek's parents are Greg and Lori Tabor.

“Derek plays very hard. He is great in the open field both running the ball and tackling. He is very passionate about football and plays with a high motor every day. He is tough and resilient. Derek is a great addition to our program,” stated DSU Head Football Coach Pete Stanton.

Zeb Doe, 6’ 215 LB/ FB, was an All Conference-All Region- All State Linebacker. Doe helped Killdeer to consecutive State Championship apearances, runner up both years.

"I like the program and the environment," stated Doe when asked why he chose DSU.

Zeb is the son of Jody and Sarah Doe.
 
“Zeb had an outstanding year. He is a physical player who is also athletic enough to do a great job dropping and in coverage as well. He is a guy who gets down hill at linebacker and tackles well. He is a good blocker and running back as well. We will use Zeb at linebacker. He is a tough and well rounded football player,” said Stanton.
