Kenny Wilbur Signs with DSU for Football & Track

The Dickinson State University football and track programs are proud to announce the signing of Kenny Wilbur of Townsend, MT.

Kenny has been All-Conference and All-State in both football and track and field his junior and senior year. He was instrumental in helping the Bulldogs to their first state championship in school history. Wilbur had a key interception in the title game and caught the go ahead touchdown in the 14-7 win over Huntley Project.

Wilbur was All-state in the 800 in track as both a sophomore and junior. In addition, he was a first team All-state selection in football as both a defensive back and receiver. He has recently was selected to represent Townsend in both the Montana Class B All-star game, the Montana East-West Shrine game, and Montana-North Dakota Badlands Bowl game.

Head Football Coach Pete Stanton of Dickinson State commented, “Kenny is an exceptional athlete. He catches the ball well and is a playmaker on offense. On defense he has great ball skills and instincts. He was outstanding for Townsend down the stretch during their state championship season. The fact that he ran a sub 2:00 minute 800 in track speaks volumes for his competiveness. More importantly, Kenny is a winner off the field with the type of person and student he is”.
