DICKINSON, ND- Dickinson State University Football is proud to announce the signing of Pat Nevin. Nevin is a 6'3" 275 pound offensive tackle from Sierra College in California.
Nevin was a standout tackle for the Wolverines. He was named to the Nor-Cal Conference All-Conference team in 2016. He will have two years left to play for the Blue Hawks. In 2015, the Wolverines finished 6-5 which concluded with a 31-28 victory in the State Center Bowl over Fresno City College. Nevin was a two-year starter at right tackle for the Wolverines.
A native of Auburn, California, Nevin prepped at Placer High School where he was named 1st team All-Conference. That year he was named the conference's "Lineman of the Year".
Nevin entertained offers from some of the Top NAIA programs in the country before inking with the Blue Hawks.
"I chose to play at Dickinson State University because of the great coaching staff, the highly-talented players, and above all, the proud tradition the school carries in the classroom and on the football field", said Nevin.
"We are very excited to add Pat to our program. He will make an immediate impact for us on the offensive line. He has good feet and plays with a ton of passion and with a high motor. He was an all-conference guy in a very good league. Pat will bring great leadership, work ethic, and attitude to our offensive line and team.", said Blue Hawks Head Coach Pete Stanton.
