Hoherz signs with Blue Hawk Football

DICKINSON, ND- Dickinson State University Football is excited to announce the signing of Reece Hoherz.  Hoherz is a  6'3" 190 pound defensive back from Beulah High School.

Hoherz was a standout athlete for the Miners, where he played both quarterback and safety.  He was a 1st team Class AA All-State selection in 2016 as a defensive back.  He was also named to the All-Region 1st team. 

In 2015, he helped the Miners win the Class AA State Championship game. Hoherz was recently selected to play in the North Dakota vs. Montana Badlands Bowl game to be held in Miles City, Montana this summer.

Hoherz is a three-sport athlete for the Miners, where he also participates in basketball and track.

His parents, Kevin and Mary, are both graduates of Dickinson State University.

He plans to study Physical Education while at Dickinson State.

"Reece is a very good athlete. He is capable of playing a number of positions, but we will play him at safety.  He is a great competitor who comes from a very good program. He is a 3 sport athlete and outstanding person and student. Reece has a bright future as a Blue Hawk," said Blue Hawks Head Coach Pete Stanton.
