He was named to the Class AA All-State team in 2016.  He was also an Eastern AA 1st team selection his senior season.  He was also voted the Bison's "Most Valuable Offensive Player" and "Most Inspirational Player".  Vaughan was also named Team Captain this past fall.

Vaughan also excels in the classroom where holds a strong GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Vice President of HOSA Future Health Professionals of America.

"Bryce is a guy that came highly recommended by Coach Samson.  He will be a great asset to our program, on and off the field.  He had an excellent senior season.  Their team was significantly improved this year and a lot of it had to do with his play.  He does everything we want our running backs to do – he runs it, catches it well and blocks.  We think he has an excellent future here as a Blue Hawk.  And most importantly Bryce is nice young man who excels in the classroom", said Blue Hawk Head Coach Pete Stanton.
