DICKINSON, N.D. -- Dickinson State University men's basketball head coach Justin Wetzel has announced the signing of 6-foot-7, 215-pound transfer Connor Donaldson.
Donaldson played one season at MSU Billings where he started fifteen games for the NCAA Div. II Yellowjackets and averaged over eight points per game.
"Connor is a tremendous addition to our program as a person and player," Wetzel said. "Connor can place pressure on defenses with his size and ability to shoot the ball, he also has great court vison and passing ability for a big. Coming from a very strong NCAA Div II conference and growing up in the Seattle area Connor understands what it's like to compete against a high level of basketball talent."
Pior to his stint at MSU Billings Connor starred at Everett Community College in Everett, Wash. where he was named first team all NWWAACC North Region and led the Trojans with 16.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
Donaldson was recruited this spring by a number of strong NAIA programs.
"I chose Dickinson State in part because the community feel and I want to finish my athletic career and earn my degree at a great university like Dickinson State. Coach Wetzel is someone I've known from my recruitment out of junior college and I know some exciting things are in store for Dickinson State basketball."
He is the son of Mike and Lindsay.
