DICKINSON, N.D. – Dickinson State University men's basketball hosted a Boy's Basketball Mini-Camp on Saturday (Sept. 6). The camp was hosted by Dickinson Parks and Recreation.
The free camp was for boys grades 3-6, where campers worked on basic skill such as dribbling, passing, and shooting.
"Anytime we can give back to the community and the game of basketball it is a win for our program," Head Coach Justin Wetzel said. "This game has given us so much as players and coaches, it is important for us to never lose sight of that."
The Blue Hawks will open their 2014-15 season on Friday (Oct. 17) at home against the University of Regina. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
