GRAND FORKS, N.D. - - The Blue Hawks played the University of North Dakota on Friday (Dec. 19) in an exhibition matchup. North Dakota came away with a 78-48 victory. Dickinson State outshot UND in three-pointers, 6-5.
Jaron Nash and Estan Tyler each scored 13 points. Terrel De Rouen finished with 12. Dustin Hobaugh and Nash led North Dakota with six rebounds each. North Dakota finished with 36 rebounds, 12 assists, 10 steals, 17 turnovers, and a shooting percentage of 57.1.
Curtis Redd finished with 12 points, while Connor Donaldson notched 10. Donaldson Mackenson Odenier also recorded eight rebounds. Tevin Russell picked up seven rebounds and five assists. The Blue Hawks finished with 32 rebounds, nine assists, four steals, one block, and a shooting percentage of 34.5. Dickinson State recorded 11 second chance points to North Dakota's nine.
The Blue Hawks will be back in action on Dec. 29 as they head to Rocky Mountain College for a two-day tournament.
