DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Men's Basketball team earned their second win in two days with a 102-59 win over Trinity Bible College on Saturday night.
The Blue Hawks came out on fire outscoring the Lions 46-27 in the first half. Dickinson State shot 44 percent from the field and 50 percent from three in the first half while Trinity bible shot 25 percent from the field and 23 percent from three.
In the second half, the Blue Hawks remained on fire putting up 56 points to the Lions 32 points giving the Blue Hawks a 43 point victory.
Dickinson State finished the game shooting 54 percent from the field, 46 percent from three and 82 percent from the line while the Lions shot 29 percent from the field, 21 percent from three and 81 percent from the line.
The Blue Hawks had five players finish the game in double digit scoring. Kolbi Selby led the Blue Hawks with 13 points while Stephon Dafney, Jacob Gondrezick, Brandon Ruffin and Mark Lebsock each recorded 12 points in the victory.
Dickinson State grabbed 52 rebounds with 21 assists, 14 turnovers, four blocks and 13 steals while the Lions hauled in 33 rebounds with 13 assists, 20 turnovers, two blocks and four steals in the loss to the Blue Hawks.
The Blue Hawks are now 6-3 and 0-0 NSAA. Dickinson State will open their NSAA season on Tuesday, December 15th when they host Waldorf College at 7:30 PM (MDT) in Scott Gymnasium.
