DENVER, CO- The Dickinson State University Men's Basketball team lost a close game to Johnson & Wales Friday night with a score of 98-94.
Dickinson State took a one point lead into halftime with a score of 41-40 after shooting 35 percent from the field and 64 percent from three while Johnson & Wales shot 49 percent from the field and 56 percent from three in the first half.
Johnson & Wales then outscored the Blue Hawks 58-53 in the second half leading to a 98-94 win over Dickinson State. Johnson & Wales finished the game shooting 48 percent from the field, 56 percent from three and 76 percent from the line while the Blue Hawks shot 40 percent from the field, 48 percent from three and 69 percent from the line.
Dickinson State is now 7-8 overall and 1-0 NSAA.
The Blue Hawks will square off with Northern New Mexico on Saturday at 3:00 PM (MDT) then travel to La Cross (WI) to take on Viterbo University in a NSAA game on Monday.
