HELENA, MT- The Dickinson State University Men's Basketball team fell to the Carroll College Fighting Saints on Friday evening in a non-conference match-up held on the campus of Carroll College.
The Blue Hawks led Carroll at halftime with a score of 37-30 and were outscored by Carroll 41-25 in the second half with the final score of the game being 71-62.
The Blue Hawks were led by junior Marcus White with 20 points. Junior Ryan Clark also scored 15 points for the Blue Hawks. Ryan Clark and senior Gilberto Shojgreen Jr. led the Blue Hawks in the rebounding department with a total of 5 rebounds each. Jake Buck led the Blue Hawks with 6 total assists for the game.
Carroll had two players record double digits in scoring and one player with six rebounds.
Dickinson State shot 46.8 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and 60 percent from the free throw line. The Blue Hawks recorded 33 rebounds, 13 assists, 20 turnovers, 1 block and 5 steals in the loss.
The Saints from Carroll College shot 47.2 percent from the field, 18.2 percent from three and 82.6 percent from the free throw line. Carroll finished the game with 28 rebounds, 13 assists, 16 turnovers, 7 blocks and 9 steals.
The Blue Hawks are now 3-3 and 0-0 NSAA and return home on Tuesday, November 22nd as they host Yellowstone Christian College at 7:00p.m. (MDT) in Scott Gymnasium.
