Blue Hawks set two facility records at Bison Open

DICKINSON, N.D. – The Blue Hawks traveled to the Bison Open at North Dakota State Univerity on Saturday (Feb. 15).  Dickinson State had three qualify for nationals.

The men's 4x400 meter relay team of Michael PalczewskiBreyan MillerCorey Gill, andNathan Magstadt finished third (3:22.18) and met the B standard. Dante Carter met the A standard in the men's 1,000 meter run with a time of 2:29.48.  His time was also a new facility record.  The final men's qualifier was Breyan Miller in the 200 meter dash.  Miller finished with a time of 21.8 seconds, meeting the A standard and a new facility record.

Brittany Young and Stormie Sickler finished 11th and 12th respectively in the women's 800 meter.  Hailey Schaper finished third in the women's high jump with mark of 1.63 meters. Ashley Farr finished six in the women's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.00.
