MOORHEAD, Minn. – Dickinson State competed in the Cobber Duals on Saturday (Jan. 31). The men finished sixth, while the women took eighth.
In the women's 1-mile run, Austyn Copp finished third with a time of 5:30.16. Copp also won the women's 3,000-metre run with a time of 11:04.13.
Abby Honeyman claimed third in the 60-metre hurdles, finished with a mark of 9.55 seconds.
Stormie Sickler finished sixth in the women's 400-metre dash. She finished with a time of 1:01.45.
Amber Forbes finished the women's 60-metre dash with a time of 8.16 seconds and took sixth.
In the 800-metre run, Shayna Tonderum placed fourth, with a time of 2:35.17.
Megan Dailey placed third in the high jump with a height of 1.58 metres.
Jose Chorro won the men's 60-metre hurdles with a time of 8.55 seconds. He beat out Jay Cooper, of the University of Mary, by .01 seconds. Chorro also took second in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.48 metres.
Edison Clarke finished sixth in the 400-metre dash with a time of 53.40 seconds.
Zelmon Knowles took fourth in the men's 600-metre run. He finished with a time 1:27.22.
Breyan Miller won the 60-metre dash with a time of 6.96 seconds.
In the men's 800-metre run, Delano Lilly finished fourth with a time of 2:08.20.
Aidan Theard finished fourth in the men's 3,000-metre run with a time of 9:15.50.
The team of Knowles, Miller, Lilly, and Ryan Jones took second in the men's 4x400-metre relay with a time of 3:34.00.
Jones took fourth in the men's high jump with a height of 6.38 metres.
Jeremy Everson took fourth in the pole vault with a height of 4.06 metres.
Dickinson State will be back in action on Friday (Feb. 6) at the Birds and Bees Classic in Gillette, Wyoming.
