GILLETTE, Wyo. – The Blue Hawks took part in the Birds and Bees Classic on Saturday (Feb. 7). The women finished third of eight, while the men came in fourth of eight.
Amber Forbes finished fourth in the women's 60-metre dash with a time of 8.09 seconds.
Stormie Sickler finished third in the women's 400-metre dash with a time of 1:00.25.
Austyn Copp finished second in the 3,000-metre run with a time of 11:06.61.
Megan Dailey finished second in the high jump with a distance of 1.60 metres.
Alysse Charlestworth took third in the triple jump with a distance of 10.58 metres.
Hannah Phillips finished third in the shot put with a distance of 12.69 metres. Whitney Leuenberger finished fourth with a distance of 12.57 metres.
Mardee Clark finished third in the pentathlon with a final score of 1,969.
Breyan Miller finished second in the in the men's 60-metre dash with a time of 6.91 seconds. Miller won the 200-metre dash with a time of 22.37.
Garreth Kerr finished fifth in the 60-metre hurdles with a time of 8.57 seconds.
Josh Torgerson took third in the high jump with a distance of 1.96 metres.
Tommy Sease finished first in the pentathlon with a score of 606. Jeremy Everson finished second with a score of 474.
The Blue Hawks will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 14) at the South Dakota State Open.
