Dickinson, ND– The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) conference announced its final edition of the Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week honors. Freshman Abby Honeyman was chosen as the women's Track Athlete-of-the-Week and freshman Thomas Sease was named Men's Track Athlete-of the Week.
Honeyman posted three runner-up honors in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships for Dickinson State (N.D.). She clocked a time of 9.66 seconds to finish second in the 60-meter hurdles. Honeyman also earned second place finishes in the 200-meters race in 27.35 seconds and anchored in the 4 x 400-meter relay team with a time of 4:32.88. She earned the NSAA Athlete-of-the-Meet for scoring most points in the meet. Honeyman was the top finisher in the long jump (16 feet and 0.5 inches – 4.89 meters), earning a tiebreaker victory. She also added a third place finish in the triple jump (33 feet and 0.5 inches – 10.07 meters).
Sease won a pair of individual titles at the 2015 North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Indoor Track & Field Championships for Dickinson State (N.D.). He won the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.29 seconds. He captured the pole vault title by clearing the measurement of 10 feet and 6 inches (3.20 meters). Sease anchored on the Blue Hawks' 4 x 400-meter relay team that finished second with a time of 3:29.74. He was fourth in the 60-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 9.18 seconds. As a result, Sease was named NSAA Athlete-of-the-Meet.
