Blue Hawk Men's Track & Field Win NSAA Conference Outdoor Championship

DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Men's Track & Field team topped off their NSAA Conference Outdoor season by winning the Championship on Friday.

Dickinson State cruised to the team title after recording a total of 148 points in the conference meet.  Dakota State (S.D.) took second with 81 points.  Jamestown (N.D.) was third with 78 points, followed by Valley City State (N.D.) fourth with 38 points.

Earning first place in their events were Breyan Miller (100 & 200 Meter Dash), Eddie Meneses (5000 Meter Run), Jose Chorro (110 & 400 Meter Hurdles and Long Jump), Jeremy Evenson (Pole Vault), Josh Torgerson (Triple Jump), and Tommy Sease (Decathlon).

The Blue Hawk Relay teams also did an amazing job winning three relays. Chorro, Edison Clarke, Garreth Kerr, and Mason Frank won the 4x100 Meter Relay while Ryan Jones, Delano Lilly, Josh Reed, and Chorro won the 4x400 Meter Relay. Aidon Theard, Lilly, Meneses, and Jonathon Aman also won the 4x800 Meter Relay.
