JAMESTOWN, ND- Dickinson State University sophomore, Tommy Sease, won the two day NSAA Indoor Multi Event with a score of 4292 points.
The men's heptathlon was held for two days, starting on Sunday afternoon and concluding on Monday.
Tommy Sease of Dickinson State (N.D.) won the men's heptathlon with 4,294 points, which he already claimed a spot at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships. Keegan Bludworth of Viterbo was second with 4,019 points, followed by Justin Jacobi of Waldorf third with 3,986 points. Gavin Zimmerman of VU was fourth with 3,944 points, Jamison Gray of Jamestown (N.D.) fifth with 3,745 points and Jalen Hendrickson of Dickinson State earned sixth place with 3,736 points.
Blue Hawk Beau Ackerman edged Isaiah Craig of WC for a seventh-place finish by a margin of three points (3,586 to 3,583). Caleb Gilbertson of Waldorf was ninth with 3,354 points and Jordan Polk of Viterbo was tenth with 3,187 points.
Viterbo is currently first in the standings for the NSAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with 12 points, followed by Dickinson State second with 11 points. Waldorf is third with six points and Jamestown fourth with two points.
The full slate of events for the NSAA Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex on the campus of South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D. First event is scheduled to kick off at 9 a.m.
