Dickinson State Men's Track and Field Compete at Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, ND- The Dickinson State University Men's Track & Field team competed in the Al Cassell Relays on Saturday at the University of Jamestown.

Freshmen Cain Boschee and Lewis Dobitz had season best in the 100m dash.  Boschee placed second with a time of 10.83, and Dobitz finished fourth with a time of 11.13.

Cain Boschee also had a second place finish with a time of 22.36 in the 200m dash.  Senior Josh Reed had a career best time of 23.54 in the 200m dash (7th place).

Jose Chorro improved his time in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.62, placing second in the event.  Chorro also came back and won the 400m hurdles with a time of  56.89.

The Men's 4x100m Relay (consisted of Jose Chorro, Cain Boschee, Lewis Dobitz, and Chase Anderson) won the event with a time of 42.78.

Zach Girard had a season best in the high jump, going 6'0"(1.83m), good enough for fifth place.

Kaler Ray was the top Blue Hawk in the Men's Long Jump, placing fifth with a mark of 21' 7.25" (6.58m).

Ty Malone had a personal best in the Shot Put with a mark of 47'4.5" (11.44m); good enough for fourth place.
