DSU Men's T&F host Last Chance Track Meet

DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Men's Track & Field team hosted their Last Chance Track Meet last Friday.

Haakon Fredrickson finished 1st in the pole vault with a height of 3.95 meters.

Ty Stanton won the long jump with a distance of 7.37 meters while Jay Liggins finished 3rd with a distance of 6.88 meters.

Ty Malone finished 2nd in the hammer throw with a toss of 47.40 meters while Jeff Fisher finished 4th with a distance of 37.35 meters.

Malone also finished 2nd in the shot put with a toss of 14.02 meters and Fisher finished 3rd with a distance of 13.83 meters.

Josh Torgerson finished 2nd in the high jump with a height of 1.89 meters while Zach Girard finished 3rd with a height of 1.79 meters.

Paxton Miller finished 1st in the javelin with a distance of 52.40 meters.

Jeff Fisher finished 2nd in the discus with a throw of 37.39 meters while Ty Malone finished 3rd with a toss of 36.26 meters.

Ty Stanton won the triple jump with a distance of 14.57 meters while Jay Liggins finished 2nd with a distance of 14.12 meters.

Christopher Moreno won the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:01.90 and Richard Timmermans finished 4th with a time of 4:30.08.

Jose Chorro won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.62.

Gabe Meschke won the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.60 and Tristan Allen finished 2nd with a time of 50.00.

Daniel Aguirre won the 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.94 while Dakota Mansfield finished 2nd with a time of 1:58.58.

Cain Boschee won the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.02 and Meschke finished 2nd with a time of 22.66.

Dickinson State will compete in the NSAA Outdoor Championships this Thursday and Friday in Jamestown, ND.
