Carter earns Frontier Conference "Runner of the Week" honors

After placing first at the Mount Marty Invitational on October 26, sophomore Dante Carter has been named the Frontier Conference "Runner of the Week."

Carter helped the Blue Hawks to a second place finish in the Mount Marty Invitational with a time of 25:24, which beat his previous personal best for an 8K (25:46).

"The Frontier Conference has some great cross country runners and it's an honor to win this award," head coach Mike Nekuda said.  "It is a testament to Dante's hard work and consistency throughout this year."

Carter is a computer science major from Las Vegas, NV.  His parents are Kirk and Adrienne Williams.

The Blue Hawks and Carter are looking ahead to November 8, as they prepare for the Frontier Conference Championship.
