Men tie for 3rd at Conference Championship

Lewiston, ID -- Dante Carter once again blazed a trail for the Blue Hawks, as he finished second overall at the Frontier Conference Championship.  The Blue Hawk men would finish in a tie for third place with Caroll College. The women finished sixth.

 

Carter finished with a time of 24:47, which set a 5:00 pace.  Denis Patrick finished 11th overall with a time of 25:29.  Eddie Meneses finished with a time of 25:34, good enough for 14th. Two more Blue Hawks finished in the top 25. Jeffrey Segovia finished with a time of 25:51 to secure18th.  The final Blue Hawk in the top 25 was Riley Malcolm.  Malcolm finished in 23rd, with a time of 25:51.  

The remaining Blue Hawk men who finished: Dustin Sandbak (26), Delano Lilly (36),Jonathan Aman (T-37), Daniel Patrick (T-37), and Ariel Hurtado (T-38).

The women finished sixth and their leading runner was Meleah Leiss.  Leiss finished in 20th place with a time of 19:17.  Stormie Sickler finished 27th with a time of 20:16.  Places 34-36 were taken by Shayna Tonderum, Brittany Young, and Shelby Snare, respectively. Camille Ness (38) and Shelby Stagner (39)  were the final two Blue Hawk runners.

The next meet would be the NAIA Championships in Lawrence, KS on November 23.
