In game two on the day the Hawks offense stayed hot. The Blue Hawks beat Oklahoma Wesleyan 9-2. Regan Lawrence got the start and improved her record to 4-2 on the season.  In the first inning the Hawks took what they thought was a 2-0 lead off an Alex Vargas homerun to deep center field but it was called back by an illegal number listed on the lineup card.

The Hawks offense didn’t get started again until the 4th inning when they scored 2 runs to get on the board first. Lawrence pitched a complete game giving up 2 runs on 6 hits, walking 1 and striking out 7.

The offense was led by Claudia Torress who was 2-3 with 3 RBI’s. Janell LaRont was 2-4 with 3 RBI’s and 2 runs scored.
