Regan Lawrence Named 2015 NAIA All- American Honorable Mention

DICKINSON, ND- Head Softball Coach Kristen Fleury is pleased to announce senior Regan Lawrence has been named to the 2015 NAIA All- American Honorable Mention team.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2015 Softball All-America teams, selected by the NAIA All-America committee.

Regan Lawrence is a senior from Stonewall, Manitoba who helped lead the Blue Hawks to the 2015 NAIA Softball World Series in Sioux City, IA.

In Lawrence's senior year on the mound she posted a 26-8 record with a 2.05 ERA, 189 strikeouts and 50 walks. She also batted .301 with 50 hits, 32 runs scored, 39 RBI and two homeruns.

Lawrence finished her pitching career at Dickinson State University with a record of 67-25, 488 strikeouts, 2.52 ERA while throwing 597 innings. As a batter she finished with a career batting average of .307 with 116 hits, 30 doubles, two triples, four homeruns and 70 RBI.

"I can not say enough about Regan and what she has done for our program the last four years. She is a very gifted athlete with a great understanding of the game. We will definitely miss her but she has shown what hard work and dedication can do for an athlete," said Coach Fleury.
