Blue Hawk Softball competes at the Tucson Invitational Games

Tucson, AZ- The Dickinson State University Softball team opened up their spring trip in Tucson, AZ on Thursday March 9th. The Blue Hawks have yet to find the win column in the first six games. The Blue Hawks will have a day off on Sunday March 12th and will return to the field on Monday March 13th playing a double header each day through Thursday.

Coach Fleury had this to say about the first half of their spring trip, "These past six games have not been our best softball. We have played some tough teams who have taken advantage of our miscues and we have not capitalized on opportunities when we have had them. We have yet to click on all cylinders and are still trying to find our identity as a team. Right now we have had a lot of individual success and not team success. We need to get better as a team in all areas of the game."
