Jamestown, ND – Dickinson State's streak ended against the University of Jamestown. The Blue Hawks fell to the Jimmies 67-48. Jamestown is now 7-1 on the season, while Dickinson State fell to 5-2.
Carly Jensen knocked down 15 for Jamestown, while Hannah Steele added 14. Steele also had five assists. Jessica Buck led the Jimmies with 11 rebounds. The Jimmies shot 36.8% from the field, including eight buckets from beyond the three point arc. Jamestown also finished with 50 rebounds.
Senior Dawne Degel led the way for the Blue Hawks, as she tallied 12 points. JuniorJa'Lisa Gatlin and senior Jess Bygate each added eight points. Gatlin also led Dickinson State with eight rebounds. The Blue Hawks struggled offensively, as they shot just 27.7% from the floor.
The Blue Hawks will be back on the court against Minot State, in an exhibition, on November 24. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m
