WINNIPEG, Manitoba – The Blue Hawks fell to the University of Winnipeg on Sunday (Dec. 29), 94-80. Dickinson State is now 10-5 on the season.
Stephanie Kleysen led the Wesmen with 23 points, followed closely by Alyssa Grant with 22. Kleysen also led with 12 rebounds. Both Megan Noonan and Kerri Kuzbyt picked up eight assists. The Wesmen shot 54.2 percent from the floor, with 29 assists, 36 rebounds, and nine steals.
Sophomore TaRicka Linzy and senior Jess Bygate both picked up 14 points, while Mariah Duranhad 13. Senior Dawne Degel had a team high 13 rebounds. Duran recorded seven assists and freshman guard Rachael McDonough picked up five. The Blue Hawks finished with 46 rebounds, 11 steals, 24 assists, and a 34.2 shooting percentage.
Dickinson State will be back on the court on Monday (Dec. 30).
