Blue Hawks Earn 10 Point Victory in Florida Over Webber International

BABSON PARK, FL- The Dickinson State University Women's Basketball team won their fourth game in a row with a win over Webber International Friday in their first game of two in Florida.

The Blue Hawks finished the game with four players in double figures. MacKayla Feeney led the Blue Hawks with 17 points while Megan Klein recorded a double double with 18 rebounds and 14 points.

Leslie Beaudoin recorded 13 points and Ashley Bentz added 11 points in the victory for the Blue Hawks while Taylor Henningsgard finished with a game high eight assists.

"This was a big win for us as Webber has a really good team," said DSU Head Coach Mark Graupe. "Coming into the game, they were 6-3 and had previously beat two teams that were receiving votes in the national poll and to win on the road against a very good opponent is great."

Webber International was led by J. Mcrae with 15 points while M. Braxton and V. Baggett each recorded 12 points in the loss to Dickinson State.

The Blue Hawks are now 10-2 on the season and 1-0 in NSAA.

Dickinson State finished their Florida trip on Saturday when they face off with Keiser University at 1:00 PM (EDT).
