DENVER, CO- The Dickinson State University Women's Basketball team defeated Johnson & Wales (CO) for the second time this season on Friday night with a score of 90-64.
The last time Dickinson State met with Johnson & Wales in Scott Gym on December 4th, the Blue Hawks won 101-66. On Friday night, the Blue Hawks came out and dominated Johnson & Wales again.
Dickinson State outscored Johnson & Wales in every quarter (24-17, 26-19, 23-14, 17-14) leading to the Blue Hawks 12th win of the season.
The Blue Hawks had five players score double digits with MacKayla Feeney leading the way with 21 points. Janniqua Thomas scored 13 while Ashley Bentz added 12. Megan Klein scored 11 points and Lorna Shepherd finished with 10.
Dickinson State shot 43 percent from the field, 39 percent from three and 65 percent from the line while Johnson & Wales shot 30 percent from the field, 24 percent from three and 64 percent from the line.
The #21 Blue Hawks are now 12-4 overall and 1-0 NSAA.
Dickinson State will play Northern New Mexico on Saturday at 12:00 PM (MDT) then head to La Crosse (WI) to take on Viterbo University in a NSAA game on Monday.
