LA CROSSE, WI- The Dickinson State University Women's Basketball team stayed undefeated in the NSAA with blow out win over Viterbo on Monday night.
Dickinson State finished their three game road trip with a huge win over Viterbo University, 72-31. During the road trip, the Blue Hawks went 3-0 and finished with their second win in as many games in the NSAA.
For the third game in a row, the Blue Hawks outscored their opponent in every quarter. Dickinson State outscored Viterbo 10-3 in the first, 16-9 in the second, 30-13 in the third and 16-6 in the fourth quarter.
Megan Klein, who was named NSAA Player of the Week today, led the Blue Hawks with 14 points and eight rebounds while MacKayla Feeney added 10 points. 12 of the 14 Blue Hawks that played in the game scored leading to Dickinson State going 2-0 so far this season in the North Star Athletic Association.
Dickinson State shot 46 percent from the field, 31 percent from three and 75 percent from the line while Viterbo University shot 22 percent from the field, 16 percent from three and 67 percent from the line in the loss to the Blue Hawks.
The Blue Hawks are now 14-4 on the season and 2-0 in NSAA play.
Dickinson State will now travel to Mayville State on January 20th to take on the Comets in a NSAA match up at 5:30 PM (MDT).
