DSU Women's Golf Picked 5th in NSAA Women’s Golf Preseason Coaches’ Poll

MADISON, S.D. – Bellevue (Neb.) totaled 35 points for first-place in the 2015-16 North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Women's Golf Preseason Coaches' Poll, the conference office announced Friday.  The Bruins earned five of the seven first-place votes.

Jamestown (N.D.), who picked second with 29 points, received one first-place vote.  Viterbo (Wis.) also picked a first-place vote and finished third with 27 points.

Waldorf (Iowa) was picked to finish fourth with 19 points, followed by Dickinson State (N.D.) fifth with 17 points, Valley City State (N.D.) sixth with 12 points and Presentation (S.D.) seventh with 8 points.

The NSAA conference golf meet will be held on Sept. 28-28 in Oxbow, N.D.  The conference winner will earn the NSAA's automatic bid to the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships, which will be held in Pooler, Ga. on May 17-20, 2016.
