HASTINGS, Neb. – Cameron Morman once again led the way for the Blue Hawks on Saturday (May 3), as he collected 190 points to claim the Men's All-Around title at the Bronco Roundup. Dickinson State finished first on the men's side (865 points) and second on the women's (270 points). Bobbi Grann finished second in the women's All-Around with 270 points.
Dalton Rixen finished first in saddle bronc riding, earning a total score of 131.
Jordan Pelton finished three points off the lead bareback riding. He finished with a score of 138, but was narrowly beat out by Black Hills' rider Nick Schwedhelm.
Morman notched a victory in steer wrestling. He finished with a time of 13.8 seconds. He also finished sixth in tie down roping with a time of 26 seconds.
Cody Hilzendeger joined Black Hills' Samantha Jorgenson in team roping. The pair finished with a time of 18.4 seconds.
On the women's side, Grann took first in barrel racing. She finished in 35.73 seconds, a tenth of a second faster than South Dakota State's Kaitlyn Rae Latham. Grann also finished third in goat tying, finishing in 15.6 seconds.
Dickinson State will be back in action on Friday (May 9) when they host the Blue Hawk Stampede.
