DICKINSON, ND- Dickinson State University Track & Field Coach Jace Schillinger is pleased to announce Amanda Wolff of Glasgow High School will join both the women’s cross country and track & field teams.
Amanda was a standout athlete for the Scotties competing in Cross Country, Basketball, and Track & Field. She was a two-time Class B State placer and was apart of 3 state championship teams throughout her career. In basketball she was selected for the Treasure State Classic and Hi-Line Invitational basketball tournaments. She was an All-Conference performer her senior season. This past spring Amanda was All-State at the Class B State Meet. She will focus on middle distance for the Lady Hawks where she has a career best 2:24 in the 800 m run. Wolff is also a standout in the classroom where she was selected Academic All State her senior year.
“We are very excited Amanda chose Dickinson State to further her education and athletic career. She has a very bright future. She turned down a couple D-2 offers for both track and basketball from other schools, it is always exciting beating other area teams for recruits. She has a tremendous personality and will be a great fit on an already solid women’s team coming back next season. She comes from an athletic family, as her brother was an All-American football player at the University of North Dakota,” said Coach Schillinger.
