DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Women's Track & Field team won the NSAA Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, the first conference championship in 34 years.
The Blue Hawks scored a total of 157.50 points to win the team tile. Jamestown (N.D.) was second with 129.50 points. Valley City State (N.D.) edged Dakota State (S.D.) for third place, while the Vikings tallied 25 points and the Trojans with 24 points.

Winning their individual events and leading the Blue Hawks were Amber Forbes (100 & 200 Meter Dash), Lorna Shepherd (400 Meter Dash), Paitton Herbst (800 Meter Run, Javelin Throw and Heptathlon), Austyn Copp (1500 Meter Run), Abby Honeyman (100 Meter Hurdles and Long Jump), Megan Dailey (High Jump and Triple Jump), and Whittney Leuenberger (Shot Put and Discus Throw).
The relay team of Forbes, Honeyman, Stormie Sickler, and Shepherd also won the 4x100 Meter Relay.
