SPEARFISH, SD- The Dickinson State University Women's Track & Field team competed at the Dave Little Invite on the campus of Black Hills State University on Saturday.
Shelbi McGee placed 2nd in the 60m with a personal best time of 8.22. She also ran a personal best time of 27.64 in the 200m; placing 7th.
Shayna Tonderum placed second in the 400m with a time of 1:05.93.
Allison Steffan placed 4th in the long jump with a mark of 4.36m (14'3.75").
Charlesworth placed 4th in the Triple Jump with a mark of 10.25m (33'7.5").
Whitney Leuenberger placed 2nd in the Shot Put with a mark of 12.60m (41'4.25").
Freshman Macy Vail had personal best in both the shot put (10.49m/ 34'5") and weight throw (11.22m/ 36'9.75").
"This weekend there was a lot of work that done in the oval office," said DSU Head Coach Chris Creal. "It is great to come back within a week and see a bunch of improvement in our performances, especially when our athletes can walk away with personal best. This team is really starting to shape out and some of these performances are definitely going to be placing our athletes high within the conference ranks for their events."
