DICKINSON, N.D. – The Blue Hawk Volleyball Camp wrapped up on Friday (June 13) at Scott Gymnasium. In total, 68 campers, grades 7-12, expanded their volleyball skills and knowledge. The camp was the largest volleyball camp at Dickinson State since 2011.
"This year's camp was tremendously successful. These young ladies really worked hard, listened attentively, and applied what they learned. During the ending tournament, I saw some very competitive and competent volleyball. The future of volleyball in Dickinson is truly bright," head volleyball coach Jon Stenman said afterward.
Campers worked with Dickinson State players and coaches starting on June 11. Campers learned fundamental, positional, and specialty volleyball skills. The camp culminated in a tournament on Friday.
