DENVER, Colo. – The Blue Hawks fell in their first match of the Denver Slam on Friday (Oct. 10) to Fort Hays State. The Tigers won the set 3-0 with set scores of 13-25, 21-25, 13-25. Dickinson State is now 1-18 on the season.
Kaitlin Bradley recorded at team high 17 kills and 18 digs. Rachel Szcezepanski and Jessie Kujawa each recorded seven kills each. Reagan Vanderplas dished out 37 assists. The Tigers finished with 43 kills, 39 assists, 10 blocks, and 64 digs.
Miranda Kadrmas led the Blue Hawks with nine kills. Tori Bauiller dished out 15 assists. Natasha Malana picked up 13 digs. Dickinson State finished with 24 kills, 23 assists, 43 digs, and three blocks.
Dickinson State will be back in action on Saturday (Oct. 11) for a pair of matches against the University of Montana-Western and John and Wales (CO).
