Blue Hawks Finish Johnson & Wales Tournament with a 3-0 Win Over St. Louis School of Pharmacy

DENVER, CO- The Dickinson State University Volleyball team defeated St. Louis School of Pharmacy in three sets in their final match of the Johnson & Wales tournament on Saturday.

The Blue Hawks won the first set 25-22, the second set 25-16 and the third set 25-13.

Magdalyn Rauser, Sydney Bentz and Shelby Gustafson each recorded six kills in the win against St. Louis School of Pharmacy. Shaylee Singleton also collected six kills and 15 digs for the Blue Hawks.

Danielle Boyette had a match high 29 assists for the Blue Hawks.

Dickinson State finished the three sets with 39 kills on 103 attempts, 37 assists, 47 digs and five total team blocks.

The Blue Hawks are now 5-18 overall and 2-5 NSAA. Dickinson State now returns home for a non-conference match with South Dakota School of Mines on Tuesday, October 13th at 7:00 PM (MDT).
