DSU Volleyball Falls to Hardrockers in Four Sets

DICKINSON, ND- The Dickinson State University Volleyball team lost their match with the South Dakota School of Mines Hardrockers in four sets on Tuesday night in Scott Gymnasium.

The Hardrockers took the first two sets 25-17 and 25-23 with the Blue Hawks taking the third set 25-22. The Blue Hawks lost the fourth and final set 25-13.

Dickinson State finished the match with 32 kills on 94 attempts, 28 assists, 15 digs and nine team blocks.

Leading the Blue Hawks was Shaylee Singleton with nine kills while Tessa Sian had seven kills. Brenna Hansen added five kills while Danielle Boyette finished with 23 assists and Maggie Green recorded eight digs in the loss to the Hardrockers.

The Blue Hawks are now 5-19 overall and 2-5 in NSAA play. Dickinson State will hit the road this weekend to La Crosse, Wisconsin to play three matches in the UW-La Crosse tournament.
